Bereavement Group
A safe place to process grief and loss

Bereavement Walking Group
About the Group
An informal setting that provides an opportunity to connect with others who are also familiar with grief and loss.
The group meets on the last Friday of the month from 10-11am and is facilitated by volunteers who are trained in grief and loss.
Meeting starts at the large fig tree on the grounds of St Stephen’s church (Church St, Newtown). Following brief introductions, the group walks at a leisurely pace around the local area, including nearby parks. During the walk, attendees are free to share what they are comfortable with about their own experience and will have an opportunity to ask questions as appropriate.
