The 'How People Change' Course

How Jesus changes us in the details of life.

What is it about?

Jesus didn’t just come to forgive your past sin. He didn’t just come to secure your future in God’s presence. He came to transform you in the present—here and now.

How does he do that? That’s what this course is all about.

How People Change gives you a ‘Google earth’ view of the Christian life – a big picture perspective that helps you to get your bearings. It helps you pinpoint where you are and what’s going on: your present challenges and blessings, your response to them, who Jesus is to you in the midst of it and where he’s calling you to grow and change.

The course helps you navigate your own life well. But it also equips you to help others well. It can help shape us as people who care for one another with wisdom and love.

Jeremy will be teaching the course material (written by Paul Tripp and Tim Lane). Each session involves a teaching component (about 20mins) and a couple of interactive group discussions.

When and where?

The How People Change course involves 12 evening sessions starting Monday 14th February at 7:30pm. The following sessions will be on a fortnightly basis.

Each session will be held at the Goodlet Hall from 7:30pm–9:00pm.

Not sure if you want to commit to all 12 sessions? That’s fine! Commit to the first 6 sessions to get a taste for the course. Then you can either opt-in or out for the second 6 sessions.

Is there a cost?

There is a $25 for the purchase of the How People Change Study Guide. (Speak to Jeremy if cost is a difficulty for you.)

Do I need to register?
